While all my friends are off to Tulum or cabins up north for winter break we are hunkering down in the city with lots of family plans. I am probably the last person in NYC that is thrilled about yet another snowstorm this weekend, but seriously what is more magical and dramatic than big, beautiful, twirling, chunky flakes of pure white snow? Let's not even discuss the epic slushy puddle jumping we will be doing in a few days, but focus on a cozy evening at home and if you're lucky, by a fire.
